GEERT MOERINGS

Mede Eigenaar

Born and raised in Oud Gastel. From an early age, there were ponies on his parents' farm, and later horses. Geert and his brother Jan have ridden until their 18th pony.
After his 18th birthday he started in horses with Olivier, a super teaching horse. In the meantime, his parents already had a few young horses in their stables and used them to breed a foal. In 1987 Esther came into the stable as a yearling. Esther was saddled on his 3rd and ridden in by a good friend, Geert had other horses available from his own breeding. When Esther Z was entitled to start, Geert took her over and that is how the love for this line started. Her eldest daughter Ilona was already Z and her character was great.

In the meantime, breeding became more and more important and arable farming was slightly reduced and livestock farming was phased out. With the arrival of the riding hall, the sports section has been given more options.

Geert is a regular participant at the Brabant championships and the KWPN / KNHS championships. In the meantime he has participated 8 times in the World Championships for Young Show jumpers in Lanaken.

Geert has also started several times at Indoor Brabant, Jumping Amsterdam and Jumping Mechelen.
